Do I need a portfolio?

I don’t really have an answer to the question if I, or anyone for that matter, needs a portfolio. What I do suspect is that:

1. It will probably end up in some online archive.
2. It will certainly be visited by many crawlers, indexers and other non-humans.
3. It might be used to train an AI that will replace my very self or at least take over my job.
4. Data about me can be found online anyway. So this site is just an aggregator of my data.
5. Databrokers might go broke if we were more open with our data
